Welcome to RivalScan. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RivalScan website and application (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
RivalScan is a competitor and pricing intelligence tool for online sellers. It gathers publicly available advertising and pricing information and presents estimates and insights to help you make decisions. RivalScan does not sell products itself and does not guarantee any sales, profit, ranking, or specific business outcome.
You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password secure. Please provide accurate information when you sign up. Accounts are for one person or business each. Don't share your login or let others use your account.
New accounts start on a free demo that uses sample data so you can see how the Service works. Running real scans on live data requires an active paid subscription.
Paid access is billed through our payment processor, Paystack, at the price shown in the app (currently about ₦64,000 per month). Billing is a one-time charge for each period with manual renewal — we do not automatically charge your card. Your paid access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Prices may change; we'll show the current price before you pay.
Because a subscription unlocks immediate access to live data, payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law. If something goes wrong or you were charged in error, contact us and we'll do our best to put it right.
When using RivalScan, you agree not to: copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute the data or the Service; use automated tools to abuse or overload it; create multiple accounts to get around demo or usage limits; attempt to break, probe, or bypass our security; or use the Service for anything unlawful.
RivalScan's data comes from third-party and publicly available sources and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. The Service provides estimates and intelligence, not financial or business advice. You are solely responsible for the decisions you make. Treat the results as helpful guidance, not certainty.
The Service, including its design, content, and branding, belongs to RivalScan. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is in good standing. Don't copy, modify, or resell any part of it.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise the Service will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RivalScan and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses arising from your reliance on the data or any business decision you make using the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or misuse the Service. You can stop using RivalScan at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new date. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
